Welcome to the website companion to Discover Colorado: Its People, Places, and Times, Second Edition by Matthew Downey and Jenny Pettit, a social studies textbook designed for the fourth-grade classroom. This website contains all the materials in the Teacher’s Guide as well as chapter-level downloads of the student textbook for incorporation into learning management systems. The Teacher’s Guide contains valuable background information for the teacher; activities to use before, during, and after students have read each chapter; and performance assessments as well as traditional assessments.

To access the contents of this site, you must be a teacher and you, your school, or your district must have purchased the print textbook of the second edition or licensed digital access to this site for your classroom.
